According to several websites, they said it is true fact. Since I live in Alaska, I see nasty mosquitos every day (but not during the winter) and they are fairly big! Many Alaskans jokily said Mosquitos are "Alaska's State Bird". I say they're nasty blood-suckers.
Fortunately, Alaska mosquitos think my blood isn't delicious so they hardly bother me. *whew* I get to live longer, cheers!
